• Contact President's Message Dear Colleagues, Esteemed Members of the Turkish Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition,

Following the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of our Society held on June 12, 2026, at the Isparta Barida Hotel, we have assumed our duties as the new Board of Directors through your appreciation and favor. On behalf of myself and my colleagues on the board Prof Dr Sinan Sarı, Prof Dr Zeren Barış, Prof Dr Ayşen Uncuoğlu, and Assoc. Prof. Burcu Güven, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all our members for entrusting us with this honorable duty. Furthermore, I consider it a duty to express our gratitude, on behalf of our entire community, to the members of the previous Board of Directors, who carried our society forward with great devotion and strengthened us with their valuable efforts and contributions. Our core vision for the new term is to take proactive and innovative steps in the fields of child health and pediatric gastroenterology, drawing strength from our society’s deep-rooted history and founding principles. We will support scientific research in pediatric digestive systems, liver diseases, and nutrition with stronger instruments, and ensure the dissemination of academic knowledge at international standards. To elevate our clinical standards to the highest level, we will update our continuous education programs in line with the requirements of a digitalizing world and sustain our professional development processes seamlessly. Our society is a large family that unites our academicians, specialists, and young colleagues in training under the same roof. To increase the strength of this great family, we will further deepen our strategic collaborations with national and international stakeholders. While managing all these processes, we will uphold the principles of transparency, inclusivity, and justice, placing the voice and contribution of every single member at the center of our management approach. In this critical mission we have undertaken for the health of future generations, your support and guidance will be our greatest source of motivation. Wishing us a successful and productive working term where we will produce together and grow under the light of science, I offer my deepest respect and warmest regards to all our members.
